Thalapathy Vijay, who recently graced the screens in The Greatest of All Time (The GOAT), is now gearing up for his next and reportedly final film, tentatively titled Thalapathy 69.
With a buzz already building around the project, it looks like Pooja Hegde and Bobby Deol might be joining the cast in key roles.
Pooja Hegde & Bobby Deol In Thalapathy 69?
According to cinephile Amutha Bharathi, the film will be directed by H Vinoth, and both Pooja and Bobby are expected to feature alongside Vijay.
If the reports are true, it will mark Pooja Hegde’s second collaboration with Vijay after their 2022 film Beast. For Bobby Deol, it would be his second Tamil project, following his role in Kanguva with Suriya.
The makers have hinted at major announcements, teasing fans with a recent post that said, “Let’s see whether your guesses are on point.” The official cast reveal will happen on October 1, 2024, from 5 pm onwards, and will continue over the next three days.

Film’s Shoot To Begin On October 5 After A Pooja Ceremony
The production is set to begin with a pooja ceremony on October 4, 2024, with shooting starting the next day on October 5. The excitement surrounding Thalapathy 69 is already palpable, and with these developments, it seems like the film is shaping up to be something special.
For Pooja Hegde, if confirmed, this will be her second film with Vijay, adding to her growing list of projects in South Indian cinema. Her previous collaboration with the superstar in Beast was a major hit, and fans are eager to see their on-screen chemistry once again.
