Rajinikanth’s Wife Shares His Health Update Amid Several Reports After His Hospitalisation
The actor was admitted to Apollo Hospital after experiencing severe stomach pain. Reports have confirmed that Rajinikanth is stable and will undergo an elective procedure today, October 1. His wife, Latha Rajinikanth, reassured fans, saying, “All is well.”
The hospital visit has stirred concern among his fans, especially with Vettaiyan’s trailer set to release on October 2. The procedure will be performed by Dr. Sai Satish, an interventional cardiologist.
Although fans worried about the superstar’s condition, Rajinikanth’s family and doctors have assured everyone that the procedure is planned and not an emergency.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin was among the first to wish the actor well, sharing a message on social media: “Hospitalized friend Superstar Mr. @rajinikanth I wish them a speedy recovery.”

His words sparked a wave of similar well-wishes, as fans and celebrities took to Twitter to show their support. Some social media users called for an official health update amid rumours that had been circulating online.
This isn’t the first health scare for Rajinikanth. Back in 2020, he was admitted to the hospital due to blood pressure fluctuations, which were said to be caused by hypertension. Fortunately, his condition stabilised, and he was discharged after a few days of rest. In 2016, the Jailer actor also underwent a kidney transplant, and since then, he has been under regular medical supervision.

Despite these health concerns, Rajinikanth has been active in the film industry. His latest project, Vettaiyan, has created a lot of buzz. The film’s trailer will drop on October 2, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti, and fans can’t wait to see what’s in store.
The movie features an ensemble cast, including Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, and Dushara. With Thalaivar leading the charge, the expectations are sky-high.
