Do Patti Makers Tease ‘Double Trouble’ For Kajol As Kriti Sanon To Be Seen In Dual Avatar
On September 30, Netflix India shared a promo featuring the cast members. The video starts with Kajol, who amusingly requests a cappuccino while spotting Kriti Sanon in a cafe.
Kajol plays a cop, while Kriti portrays a femme fatale. Their characters create an interesting contrast. The tension rises as Kriti attempts to dodge Kajol’s inquiries.
In an intense exchange, Kajol pulls out her gun and interrogates Kriti about her whereabouts the day before between 2-3 p.m. Kriti claims she was at the gym, but Kajol reminds her that paparazzi caught her outside a salon at 2:30 p.m. The back-and-forth adds to the mystery and suspense.
The video culminates in Kajol demanding Kriti spill the ‘secret’—and Kriti reveals the film’s release date. Not only does she share the date, but she hints at a twist, saying that Kajol’s problems are about to double as Kriti takes on a double role in the film.
“Ab hoga khel shuru, lekin iss kahaani ke hai do pehlu. Do Patti releases on 25 October, only on Netflix,” reads the caption on the Instagram post.
The announcement sent fans into a frenzy in the comments section. Many expressed excitement about the film. One user said “Yeh kahani interesting hogi!” and another wrote, “I love the cast, can’t wait for what’s in store.”

Earlier teasers revealed that Kajol is taking on the role of a cop for the first time in her career, while Kriti embraces the role of a femme fatale. The film’s cast also includes Shaheer Sheikh in a pivotal role.
