Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video: Raaj Shaandilyaa Reveals Why Rajkummar Rao-Triptii Dimri Starrer Is 3% Mahaparivarik, Says ‘Yeh Maine Mallika Sherawat Ke Chakkar Me Dala Hai’
The trailer for the highly anticipated comedy film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video was unveiled on September 12, and it has already created a buzz online. The film marks the much-awaited return of Mallika Sherawat to the big screen after a long hiatus.
At the trailer launch, director Raaj Shaandilyaa and producer Bhushan Kumar discussed the film’s unique casting choices.

Kumar praised Sherawat’s return, pointing out that she hadn’t taken on such a specific role in years. He then asked Shaandilyaa about the reasoning behind casting Sherawat, leading to a moment of levity and laughter from the audience.
Shaandilyaa took the opportunity to explain that while the film is a family comedy, with 97% of its content focused on family dynamics, the remaining 3% is influenced by Sherawat’s role.
He explained, “I made a film about a middle-class family, featuring actors like Rajkummar Rao and Mallika Sherawat. The role suited Mallika perfectly, as she embodies a glamorous, modern image. My film is 97% family, 3% ‘Maha Paarivarik’, which is mainly because of Mallika.”
The film features an impressive cast, including Rajkummar Rao, Triptii Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Mast Ali, Archana Puran Singh, Mukesh Tiwari, and Saharsh Kumar Shukla.
Filmmaker Praises Rajkummar Rao’s Acting
Kumar commended Rao for his versatility and stated, “Rajkummar Rao is phenomenal. He excels in both comedy and serious roles. His performance in this film is particularly impressive. I can’t imagine anyone else in this role.”
With a mix of humour and heartwarming moments, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video is poised to be a hit when it hits cinemas on October 11, 2024.
