Vedang Raina Drops Heartfelt Post To Thank The Jigra Team
On September 8, 2024, just after the Jigra teaser launched, the audio track of Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka was officially released. This iconic song, “Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai,” has been a hit across generations.
Vedang recently shared a touching video on Instagram with a thank-you message for the team behind Jigra. In his post, he wrote: “I know the younger me was dreaming of this. Thank you @vasanbala for telling me to carry my guitar and come to the studio (I had no idea what it was for). Thank you @achintstagram for letting me sing your compositions (there’s more to come). Thank you @karanjohar @aliaabhatt and everyone who’s ever taken a chance on me. Still hard to believe that I got an opportunity to sing a rendition of one of the most iconic songs in Hindi cinema for a @dharmamovies film.”
Vedang reflected on his journey from playing guitar at home to being a part of a major Bollywood production. He added, “Blessed. Grateful. Thank you for all the love for Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka and the Jigra teaser trailer ❤️❤️❤️.”

Earlier, Vedang had shared the song’s audio link on his Instagram Stories. He accompanied it with a note to his younger self, saying, “Message to 15-year-old Vedang sitting at home with his guitar, singing to a camera – dreams come true.”
The original “Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka,” composed by RD Burman and sung by Kishore Kumar, remains a beloved classic.
For Jigra, the music has been reimagined by Achint, with Vedang’s soulful voice adding a fresh touch. The teaser for Jigra uses this song to enhance the emotional depth of the sibling bond in the film.
The Recently-Released Teaser Trailer Gave A Glimpse Of Alia-Vedang’s Bond
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra is an action-packed thriller centred around a brother-sister duo. Alia Bhatt plays the fierce character Satya, while Vedang portrays her brother, Ankur, who finds himself in a difficult situation.
The film’s teaser opens with Alia recounting her tragic family story before transitioning into intense action sequences. She is seen fighting relentlessly to save her brother, who is shown in handcuffs.
The teaser concludes with an emotional scene where Alia embraces Vedang, with the reimagined “Phoolon Ka Taaron Ka” playing in the background, leaving viewers curious about their fate.
Jigra is set to release on October 11, 2024, right before the Dussehra festivities.
