During a recent conversation with Humans of Bombay, Bobby shared his anxieties during this period. “I waited 1.5 years to shoot the film. The film is 3.5 hours long, so they were shooting with Ranbir for a long time, and during that period, I kept thinking, ‘Are they going to change their mind? Will they suddenly say they don’t need me?’”
Despite these concerns, Bobby praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga for his kindness and the opportunity to work on the film. He learned sign language for his role, which he found challenging but ultimately rewarding. Bobby admitted that he didn’t expect the film to become a cult hit, although he had a strong feeling about its potential.

Bobby was initially hesitant about playing a mute character, as he valued his voice as one of his strengths. However, he chose to embrace the challenge and step out of his comfort zone. This choice resulted in a standout performance in Animal, showcasing his versatility and helping the film succeed.
