Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is making waves with its impressive production scale and star-studded cast. The Kannada superstar recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo with the film’s producer on August 8, quickly sparking excitement among fans. The action drama, directed by Geetu Mohandas, is expected to be his next major hit.
Toxic Shoot Commences On A Massive Scale In Bengaluru
According to a mid-day report, the team currently is filming on the outskirts of Bengaluru, where they’ve constructed an elaborate 20-acre set. The set authentically reflects the 1940s, immersing the audience in the period’s atmosphere. The production design team has been working tirelessly to create a detailed and immersive world.
Sources reveal that the shoot involves a massive crew of 1,000 members. Director Geetu Mohandas has been busy filming significant scenes with Yash, along with co-stars Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, and Huma Qureshi. Nayanthara is playing Yash’s on-screen sister, while Advani portrays his love interest.
The film’s grandeur extends beyond the main cast. A staggering 450 actors are involved in the project, with about 300 foreign support actors contributing to a crucial sequence. Despite heavy rains causing multiple interruptions, the cast and crew remain dedicated, often working through the night to keep the production on track.

Produced jointly by Yash’s Monster Mind Creations and KVN Productions, the film began shooting in June 2024 and resumed in September. Fans can look forward to the film’s theatrical release on April 10, 2025.
