REPORT: Sidharth Malhotra In Mahaveer Jain’s Out-N-Out Comedy Film Expected To Go On Floors In Early 2025
Sidharth Malhotra’s career is heating up with new opportunities. After his role in Yodha (2024), produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, he’s jumping into some exciting new projects.
After recent reports of the actor stepping away from Balwinder Singh Janjua and Murad Khetani’s Mitti, Malhotra is already lined up for new ventures.
Sidharth Malhotra In Mahaveer Jain Out-N-Out Entertainer
According to Bollywood Hungama, Malhotra has secured a role in an intriguing new film produced by Mahaveer Jain. This upcoming project is set to be a high-energy, commercial entertainer, blending comedy with thrilling elements.
A source close to the project revealed, “Sidharth will be seen in a film which is an out-and-out entertainer. It has loads of comedy and also has a thrill element. Sidharth excitedly came on board as he knows that it’s a film that’ll present him in a never-before-seen avatar and also expand his fan base. As a result, he’s giving his 100% towards prepping for the role.”
The film is still in the planning stages. The title hasn’t been finalised yet, and the production team is in advanced talks with a top director. The film is expected to start shooting in the first quarter of 2025.
He Is Also Discussing Projects With KJo & Dinesh Vijan
In addition to this comedy project, Malhotra is reportedly in discussions to star in Karan Johar’s upcoming action film. According to earlier reports, Johar, who has a close working relationship with Malhotra, felt that he was the perfect fit for this action-packed role. “Sidharth Malhotra and Karan Johar share a very special bond, and the latter feels that the former is meant to do action films. When he was developing the script, the name of Sid naturally crossed his mind. He narrated the film to Sid, and the actor has shown interest in the mentor’s action film,” a trade source mentioned.
Sidharth Malhotra is also in discussions for a romantic drama from Dinesh Vijan of Maddock Films. Directed by Tushar Jalota, who made Dasvi (2022), this project will add new variety to Malhotra’s career.
