According to a report from Mid-day, there’s a special treat in store for Akshay Kumar’s fans on his birthday, September 9. The makers will unveil a motion poster that not only reveals the film’s title but also offers a first look at Akshay Kumar’s character.
This teaser, which is about a minute long, is expected to create a buzz among fans. Director Priyadarshan has been working tirelessly to ensure the film’s visuals meet expectations. He even made a recent trip to Mumbai to finalise the motion poster, signalling just how important this project is to him.
The excitement around this project is further fuelled by the fact that it marks a reunion of Priyadarshan and Akshay Kumar after 14 long years.
In an interview with Hindustan Times back in April 2024, Priyadarshan shared some insights into the film. He mentioned, “Now that I am done with my docu-series on the Ram Mandir’s history, my most important film on which I am beginning work is the one with Akshay, produced by Ektaa Kapoor. It is a horror fantasy with humour.”

When asked if the film would be similar to Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Priyadarshan clarified, “That was a psychological thriller, but this one will be fantasy, in the backdrop of black magic, the oldest superstition of India. It is always a pleasure collaborating with Akshay. From our first film to this one, it has always turned out well with him, he handles the emotions so well. I was waiting for a good subject to get back with him, and this one I feel will be that.”
Akshay Kumar will play a charming character caught in a love triangle with three women. The plot details are still secret, but with Priyadarshan’s talent for mixing humour and Akshay’s strong screen presence, this horror comedy could be a truly unique and entertaining film.
