Sector 36: Vikrant Massey OVERJOYED With Love & Appreciation For His Next During Its IFFM 2024 Screening, Calls It ‘Overwhelming’
Vikrant Massey is having a great run after his standout performance in 12th Fail. He’s diving into new challenges with his next film, Sector 36. Massey is known for his ability to take on a range of roles, and this has made him one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors.
12th Fail was a standout success. It not only won the Best Film award at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) 2024 but also earned Massey the Best Performer accolade in the critics’ choice category. The film’s critical success and Massey’s powerful performance generated significant buzz, setting high expectations for his next project.
Sector 36 recently premiered at IFFM, and Massey was there to celebrate. He shared his thoughts on the experience, saying, “Melbourne has my heart! The amount of love that I have received from everyone there is overwhelming. I will forever be grateful for the outpour of appreciation that Melbourne has given me. Sector 36 is an upcoming Hindi crime thriller directed by Aditya Nimbalkar and written by Bodhayan Roychaudhury. Produced by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, the film stars Vikrant Massey, Deepak Dobriyal, Akash Khurana, Darshan Jariwala, Baharul Islam, and Ipshita Chakraborty Singh.
The movie, inspired by real events about missing children, explores themes of power, social injustice, and crime. It is set to debut on Netflix on September 13, 2024.
In addition to Sector 36, Massey will also appear in The Sabarmati Report alongside Raashi Khanna, adding to the excitement around his future projects.
