Adivi Sesh & Emraan Hashmi’s G2 To Be A Rs 100 Cr Espionage Thriller Filmed In 6 Countries, Targeting Late 2025 Release
Adivi Sesh’s Goodachari made a big impact in 2018 as a sleeper hit, thanks to its thrilling spy story. The film introduced Telugu audiences to a new style of espionage storytelling and also won over Hindi-speaking viewers with its dubbed version. Now, Adivi Sesh is gearing up for an even more ambitious project: G2.

According to a Pinkvilla report, G2 is set to be a high-budget espionage thriller, with an eye-popping budget of Rs 100 crore. This budget is a record for a new-age star like Sesh.
The film’s scale reflects its grand vision, aiming to bring a global perspective to the espionage genre. Director Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Sesh are pulling out all the stops, planning to shoot across multiple European countries including France, Switzerland, Poland, and Italy.
Makers Aiming For Late 2025 Release
The film is currently in production, with a target release date set for the second half of 2025. “It’s a step up from the first part in all ways. The casting too has gone national with the addition of Emraan Hashmi for a key role. Adivi Sesh and Emraan Hashmi will share a very exciting dynamic in the film,” a source close to the project revealed.
In addition to the international shoot, the filmmakers have constructed an impressive four-floor glass building set, which will serve as the headquarters for the secret spy agency, Trinetra, in the film. This massive set underscores the film’s commitment to creating a visually stunning and immersive experience.
Adivi Sesh, who was last seen in the successful film Major, is set to return in a role that promises even more intensity and excitement. G2 will be released in multiple languages, including Telugu and Hindi, aiming to reach a wide audience.
