Welcome To The Jungle On Track, Makers To Begin The International Marathon Schedule From October
Makers of the upcoming action comedy Welcome to the Jungle drops an unseen picture from the shoot putting all the rumours to rest. The film has already finished its Marathon schedule in Mumbai and Kashmir in August, and will commence its International Marathon schedule from October.
International Schedule Of Welcome To The Jungle To Kickstart Soon
Addressing the recent media reports Director Ahmed Khan shared, “There is no truth to these rumours. The film is on track and we are kickstarting our next leg of the marathon schedule internationally from October for which my technical team has already left for the first recce.”
With an immense production scale and enormous set and a stellar cast of 34 actors Welcome to the Jungle is one of the highly anticipated movies that audiences are eager to get entertained with. The makers have already finished 70% of the shoot of the movie.
Mumbai Rains Damage Welcome To The Jungle Sets
Filming had been in full swing, with a massive set constructed for the extensive shooting schedule planned for early August 2024. This schedule was set to feature a large ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, and was to include a major song sequence. However, the rain disrupted these plans, leading to partial destruction of the set.
Director Ahmed Khan has addressed the situation, confirming that filming will be paused until the set is fully repaired.
Ahmed told Pinkvilla, “It is unfortunate that a portion of the set got damaged due to the heavy rainfall in Mumbai. So as a creative call, I have decided to begin the shoot once the set is reconstructed.”
He reassured fans that the crew is working tirelessly to restore the set, with hopes to resume shooting soon.
The film’s 2023 announcement video showcased the cast in an a cappella performance, offering a preview of the comedic and musical elements fans can expect.
