Ramayana: Avengers Endgame Stunt Co-ordinator Working On Ranbir Kapoor Starrer As An Action Director For More Than A Year, Calls It ‘Crazy’ Experience
Nitesh Tiwari‘s upcoming Ramayana is shaping up to be one of Bollywood’s most ambitious projects, with a star-studded cast led by Ranbir Kapoor.
Though the film hasn’t been officially announced yet, it’s already making waves in the industry for its massive scale and grandeur.
Adding to the excitement, it’s now been confirmed that Terry Notary, the stunt coordinator known for his work on blockbuster films like Avengers: Endgame and Avatar, is involved in the project as the action director.

In a video shared by Instagram user Kishor Khabiya Jain, Terry Notary spoke about his experience working on Ramayana in India. Notary revealed that this was his first time in the country and that he had been working on the project for about a year and a half.
When asked about his experience, Notary described it as “crazy, but good,” adding that the energy and pace in India are relentless. He said, “There’s no stopping, always going,” highlighting the dynamic environment he’s encountered while working on the film.
Kishor, who posted the video on Instagram, expressed his excitement in the caption, saying, “Sunday morning with Terry Notary who is a loved American actor, stunt coordinator/double, and movement coach. He’s now in India for OUR INDIAN CLASSIC Ramayana, can’t wait to see the final product, brother.”
Terry Notary’s involvement adds an international touch to Ramayana, promising high-octane action sequences that could rival those seen in Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters. Notary’s impressive resume includes working as a motion capture performer in films like Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame, The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn, and the Planet of the Apes reboot series.
About The Film
As for the film itself, Ramayana is expected to be released in two parts, with the first part slated for a 2026 release. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the film will feature Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Goddess Sita, and Sunny Deol in the role of Lord Hanuman. Yash, known for his role in KGF, will portray the menacing Ravan. Additionally, Kunal Kapoor has joined the cast as Indra Dev, further bolstering the film’s already impressive lineup.
The official announcement for Ramayana is expected to drop around Dussehra or Diwali in 2024, likely with a grand reveal video that will set the stage for this epic retelling of the classic Indian myth.
