EXCLUSIVE: Stree 2 Crosses 45 Crore Again On Day Three With Total 145 Crore Net All India, Vedaa And Khel Khel Mein Continue To Struggle With Under 3 Crore
Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are back in the much-anticipated sequel, Stree 2. Film released on 15th August after paid previews on Wednesday and created havoc at box office. Film clashed with John Abraham starrer Vedaa and Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein and both releases bombed at box office in clash.
Stree 2 Grew At Box Office On Day Three, Set For 200 Crore Extended Weekend
Stree 2 showed some ominous signs during advance booking itself as it crossed almost 3.92 lacs tickets in national chains for day one. This is among top 10 of all time in terms of advance booking. Film crossed 8.50 crore nett in paid previews which is highest ever.
Film took a massive start on day one and has crossed 55.40 crore nett all India on day one. Film crossed 64.80 crore nett on day one including paid previews. This was one of the highest opening days ever behind Jawan.
Film was expected to hold solid on day two and that is what happened. Film dropped by slim 36% and managed to collect 35.30 crore nett all India. Film had total of 100 crore nett in two days. Stree 2 again grew on day three and crossed 45.70 crore nett. Film has total of 145 crore nett in three days and certain to cross 200 crore nett in 4 day extended weekend including paid previews.
Now sky is the limit for the film and it can eye record total with holds on weekdays.

On the other hand on expected lines, Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein were struggling for respectable numbers for day one. Both the films were poor on day one and now both the films have crashed out on day two with massive drops.
Khel Khel Mein struggles to cross 5.23 crore nett on day one which was poor! Film dropped further and collected 2.42 crore nett only. Film collected 3.40 crore nett on day three. Film has 3 – day total of 11.05 crore nett and now it will be uphill task for the film to reach any kind of significant number.
Vedaa remained ordinary on day one and collected 6.75 crore nett which was below par considering national holiday! On day two film dropped big by 70% and collected around 2 crore nett! Film added 3 crore nett on day three. Film has 3 – day total of 11.75 crore nett and now chances are slim for any sort of respectable total.
