Border 2: Jawan Writer Sumit Arora To Pen Screenplay & Dialogues For Sunny Deol Starrer Action Film – REPORT
The buzz for Border 2 is growing with every new update. This sequel to the 1997 hit Border stars Sunny Deol and is creating a lot of excitement. According to fresh reports, Sumit Arora, famous for his scripts in Jawan, Chandu Champion, and The Family Man, will write the screenplay and dialogues for this highly anticipated war drama.

Pre-production for Border 2 is progressing rapidly, with the team focused on crafting a script that honours the original film’s legacy. A source close to the production shared with Bollywood Hungama, “Sumit is currently finishing the script, as the team wants to officially announce the film with a locked cast soon.”
The sequel will see Sunny Deol reprising his role from the original film, which was a massive hit. Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 is produced by J.P. Dutta, his daughter Nidhi Dutta, and her husband Binnoy K. Gandhi. Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series are also involved in the production.
The Sequel Was Announced Last Year In June
The film’s announcement was made earlier in June, marking it as one of the most eagerly awaited Bollywood releases. Speculation about the cast has been rampant, with names like Ayushmann Khurrana and Diljit Dosanjh being mentioned. However, a recent report suggests that Ayushmann Khurrana may have exited the project.
In a recent interview, Binnoy K. Gandhi revealed, “The star cast will be announced soon. Within a month, we are going to organise a big event where we will showcase the entire star cast with their characters and getups.”
