John Abraham’s highly awaited film Vedaa is set to hit cinemas this Independence Day, August 15. The film, which also stars Sharvari Wagh, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Abhishek Banerjee, has already stirred excitement with the release of its latest song.

The track, titled “Zaroorat Se Zyada,” was unveiled on August 10 and quickly captured the attention of fans. In this emotional song, John Abraham, playing Major Abhimanyu Kanwar, is seen grieving the loss of his beloved wife, portrayed by Tamannaah Bhatia.
The song showcases their love story, beginning with Abhimanyu witnessing Tamannaah’s character in a critical condition.
The music video features John in an army uniform, reflecting on their shared past. Flashbacks depict their wedding and the joy of their early days together. In the present, Abhimanyu is shown struggling with the heartache of her absence, sitting alone by a bonfire.
The official ZEE Music Company Instagram account shared the song with the caption: “When love leaves, only tears remain… #ZarooratSeZyada, a melody that will leave you yearning for what could’ve been.”
Tamannaah Bhatia Talks About Her Chemistry With John At The Song Launch Event
At the song launch, John Abraham spoke about how “Zaroorat Se Zyada” enriches Vedaa by highlighting the emotional and romantic facets of his character. He noted, “It’s a song that resonates with love in its purest form, showing that the movie is not just about action but also love!”
Tamannaah Bhatia, who collaborated with John for the first time, shared her enthusiasm about the project.
