Ulajh Box Office: Janhvi Kapoor’s Film Lifts A Bit On 2nd Saturday, Still Remains A Massive Flop With Rs 9.21 Crore Nett in Nine Days
Janhvi Kapoor‘s latest film, Ulajh, has hit a rough patch at the box office. Directed by National Award-winner Sudhanshu Saria, the spy thriller, despite its impressive cast and initial hype, has failed to captivate audiences as hoped.
Ulah boasts a strong ensemble including Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Meiyan Chang. Yet, despite the star power, the film’s performance has been underwhelming.

During its opening weekend, Ulah saw a bit of a lift, with earnings crossing Rs 6.75 crore. However, the weekdays were grim, contributing only Rs 1.56 crore to the total. By the end of the first week, the film had accumulated Rs 8.31 crore in India.
The film’s second week has been equally challenging. On the eighth day, Ulah earned Rs 0.35 crore, despite a special Rs 99 Cinema Lovers Day ticket offer. Although the film saw a slight increase on the second Saturday, collecting Rs 0.55 crore, the total stands at just Rs 9.21 crore.
This modest rise, however, does little to alter the film’s disappointing trajectory. With collections still far from the film’s budget, Ulah is poised to be a major flop. The film’s fate seems sealed, and reaching the Rs 12 crore mark before new releases make their debut on Independence Day seems unlikely.

What Went Wrong With The Film?
Janhvi Kapoor’s film Ulajh has struggled at the box office with shockingly low collections. The movie faced stiff competition from big releases like Deadpool & Wolverine and Kalki 2898 AD, which drew audiences away.
Mixed reviews and a weak marketing campaign also hurt its performance. Despite the film’s spy thriller genre and star power, it hasn’t managed to attract large crowds.
