Toxic: Yash Unveils Rugged New Look As He Kicks Off Shooting For Geetu Mohandas’ Film – PIC Inside!
Yash has officially kicked off his next big project, Toxic: A Fairy Tale For Grown-Ups, putting an end to months of speculation. This film marks his first appearance on the silver screen since the massive success of KGF: Chapter 2. The buzz around Toxic is already building, especially after Yash revealed his rugged new look as filming began in Bengaluru on Thursday.
Yash Shares His New Rugged Look For Toxic
Yash took to social media to share a glimpse of the first day on set. He posted a photo of himself, captioned, “The journey begins #Toxic.” In the picture, Yash can be seen donning a white shirt and a bearded look, standing alongside producer Venkat K Narayana of KVN Productions. The two were participating in a puja ceremony to officially launch the project.
As soon as Yash shared the image, fans flooded the comments with well-wishes and heart emojis, showing their excitement for his new venture. Many hailed him as the “real hero” and sent their best wishes for the film.
Before stepping onto the set, Yash was seen visiting several temples in Karnataka with his family. Accompanied by his wife Radhika Pandit and their children, Yash sought blessings at the Shri Sadashiva Rudra Surya Temple, Shri Manjunatheshwara Temple, and Kukke Subramanya Temple. This spiritual beginning added a special touch to the start of his new project.
About Toxic & Its Rumoured Cast
While Yash’s involvement in Toxic is confirmed, there’s still speculation about who will join him on screen. Names like Nayanthara, Shruti Haasan, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, and Sai Pallavi have been floating around, but no official announcements have been made. Recently, Tara Sutaria addressed the rumours on her Instagram Stories, stating, “The articles released over the last few days about a project and I are false and not shared by me.”
Yash first announced Toxic just before his birthday in January, creating a wave of excitement among fans. In a heartfelt note, he expressed his gratitude for the overwhelming support, writing, “It’s been nearly a month since we announced Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups, and the love and appreciation you have showered means the world to me. Your excitement, reactions, theories, and analysis encourage me to do more.”
The film is set to be a pan-India release, scheduled to hit theatres on April 10, 2025. With Yash’s return to the big screen after a three-year hiatus, Toxic is already shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the coming years.
