A source close to the production shared with Pinkvilla, “Kriti was impressed by the narration she received from Aanand L Rai a few months ago. She is particularly attracted to the complexity of her character and the transformative journey she undertakes in the film. Although she has given her verbal agreement, the final paperwork is expected to be completed within the next two weeks.”
Earlier, names of actresses like Kiara Advani and Triptii Dimri also did rounds on the internet.
The source also hinted at another significant role in the film, noting, “Similar to the impact of Abhay Deol’s character in Raanjhanaa, Tere Ishk Mein will feature a substantial role for a male actor. The makers are currently in discussions with several actors and will finalise the casting soon.”
With production set to begin in October 2024, Tere Ishk Mein is gearing up for a theatrical release in 2025. The film, written by Himanshu Sharma and Neeraj Yadav, is being produced by Colour Yellow Productions.
