During a recent chat with News 18 Showsha, Taapsee Pannu was asked about the possibility of a third part. With her characteristic wit, Pannu quipped that she doesn’t delve into scripts as deeply as her co-stars Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal do. Despite this, she humorously mentioned that she has given the book Malice to writer Kanika Dhillon for inspiration on a potential third film.
Pannu optimistically stated, “Hopefully, Haseen Dillruba baar baar aati rahegi and kabhi jaaye hi na (Haseen Dillruba will keep coming and never go). You’ll see a lot of collaborations between me and Kanika in the future as well. Now we’re thinking of so many things that we can do together.”
She expressed excitement about future collaborations with Dhillon, highlighting their successful partnership on projects like Manmarziyaan and Rashmi Rocket.

Taapsee also praised Kanika Dhillon’s storytelling skills, especially her ability to create complex female characters. Pannu noted, “She writes my kind of relatable women so well. She appreciated Dhillon’s talent for crafting characters that are both grey and vulnerable, which adds depth and realism to their stories.
The actress recalled how Haseen Dillruba became a special project for her after their previous successful ventures. Pannu lauded Dhillon’s unique approach, stating that their collaboration has been fruitful, with a mutual understanding of their creative dynamics.
