The sequel is turning up the excitement with a new song that’s already getting a lot of attention. “Aayi Nai” mixes Bollywood glamour with Bhojpuri rhythms. This track is set to be one of the goofiest of the year and will definitely get you grooving.
Stree 2 Song ‘Aayi Nai’ Out, Pawan Singh Brings The Bhojpuri Swag
In the song, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are seen dancing in a picturesque palace garden surrounded by sunflowers. They’re decked out in traditional attire, adding a touch of classic romance to the peppy tune.
The music video depicts Rajkummar’s character, Vicky, expressing his frustration with Shraddha’s character. He’s surrounded by women in ghagra-choli who drag him around, symbolising his heartache and unfulfilled love.
The song, performed by popular Bhojpuri singer Pawan Singh, tells the story of a man waiting all night for his lover, who never shows up. He laments the waste of his youth spent waiting for true love and his reluctance to pursue other relationships.
The music, composed by Sachin-Jigar, cleverly fuses the emotional depth of a Bhojpuri love ballad with the high-energy vibe of a Bollywood party track.
About The Film
Talking about the film, Stree 2 sees the return of Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee. They’re back to reprise their roles, bringing the same charm and wit that made the first film a hit. This time around, the plot thickens with the introduction of a new antagonist named Sarkate. He’s an evil monster responsible for turning the original Stree into a ghost.
The sequel also features Sunita Rajwar and Varun Dhawan in a special appearance as Bhediya, adding another layer of excitement to the film. With its blend of horror, comedy, and musical flair, Stree 2 is shaping up to be a must-watch.
Backed by Maddock Films and Jio Studios, Stree 2 is co-produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and written by Niren Bhatt, who also crafted the screenplays for Munjya and Bhediya.
Stree 2 is all set to mark its entry in theatres on August 15.
