Emraan Hashmi Has THIS Shocking Reaction To ‘Aashiq Banaya’ Co-Star Tanushree Dutta Calling Their Chemistry ‘Brotherly’
Emraan Hashmi is known for his candid responses, and his recent reaction to Tanushree Dutta‘s comment on their “brotherly” chemistry in Aashiq Banaya Aapne is no exception.
During an interview with ScoopWhoop, Emraan expressed his surprise at Tanushree’s statement. Reflecting on the 2005 romantic thriller, he said, “I don’t know what she was thinking but fine.”
Here’s What Emraan Hashmi Said
Emraan was asked if he realised how the film impacted a generation. He responded, “Did you hear Tanushree’s quote three weeks ago? I don’t know if it was a verbatim quote or what. She said that it was like ‘brotherly’.” The host joked, “Game of Thrones happening.”
Emraan continued, “I said, ‘What did the director tell her and what did he tell me?’ I had another narrative going on in my head and she had another narrative going on in her head. I was never told the story about incest. I don’t know what she was thinking but fine.”
Tanushree Dutta Has Earlier Said THIS On Being Judged
In Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Emraan and Tanushree shared intimate scenes, which she later described as having a “brother-sister” chemistry. In an interview with Filmygyan, Tanushree highlighted the double standards in judging on-screen intimacy, stating, “The biggest actresses do such scenes and no one says anything. But I get judged.”
Emraan’s response to this was light-hearted, as he speculated on the differing narratives given to each actor by the director. He reiterated that he was unaware of any “brotherly” context during filming.
