VIDEO: Stree 2 Actress Shraddha Kapoor On Tamannaah Bhatia: ‘Jab Woh Dance Kartī Hai, Tabahi Mach Jāti Hai’
Shraddha Kapoor is all set for the release of Stree 2, the much-anticipated horror comedy that pairs her with Rajkummar Rao. The trailer, unveiled last week, has fans buzzing with excitement, showing Shraddha as Rajkummar’s “bhootiya girlfriend” in what promises to be a thrilling ride. The film also features Tamannaah Bhatia in a special dance number, which has everyone eagerly awaiting its release.
At a recent event celebrating the launch of the song “Aaj Ki Raat”, Shraddha and Tamannaah dazzled in matching red outfits. The two actresses shared smiles, hugs, and laughter, creating a buzz among the paparazzi. During the event, both stars expressed admiration for each other. Tamannaah’s cameo in the film has added to the film’s anticipation.

At the event, Shraddha Kapoor praised Tamannaah’s performance, saying, “She is an amazing actress. Jab wo aati hai aur dance karti hai na, tabaahi mach jaati hai. (Whenever she comes, she sets the dance stage on fire)”
She continued, “You are a brilliant actor, you’re so gorgeous, you perform well, you dance incredibly well.” Shraddha compared Tamannaah’s impact to that of Hema Malini’s iconic performance in Sholay, calling Tamannaah equally remarkable.
Tamannaah also expressed her admiration for Shraddha, calling herself a fan and encouraging audiences to make Stree 2 a blockbuster.

About Stree 2 & Future Of The Franchise
The trailer for Stree 2 reveals the return of the infamous Chanderi gang and introduces a new foe, Sarkata. The film’s release is set for August 15.
Director Amar Kaushik, in an interview with Hindustan Times, hinted at the potential for more sequels. “There is a possibility. There’s the story still left to be told, and characters left to be explored. A call will be taken after the film’s [Stree 2] release. There is a possibility of Stree 3, 4 and 5,” he said.
In the meantime, fans can catch up on the original Stree streaming on Disney+ Hotstar before the new instalment hits theatres.
