Jacqueline Fernandez Calls Salman Khan & Sajid Nadiadwala ‘Two Heros’ In Her Life
The book features personal reflections from Jacqueline Fernandez, who played a leading role in the film. She shares, “My life has taken a 360-degree turn after being signed for this dream project. I feel I now have two heroes in my life – Mr Sajid Nadiadwala and Mr Salman Khan. The only negative I can point out about Kick is that it has come to an end. In my life, I have never felt such a personal transformation. I owe it to the entire team of Kick for what I have learnt from each of them and the memories they have given to me.”

Producer and director Sajid Nadiadwala also shared some fascinating insights about the film. He revealed his strong confidence in Randeep Hooda’s casting for the role of Hemanshu.
Randeep Hooda Gave 27 Takes On First Day Of Kick Shoot
“For the character of Hemanshu, I was very convinced that I wanted Randeep for the role, right from the scripting stage. On the first day of the shoot, we tried doing very different stuff for the role and I was not very satisfied on the monitor. We had about 27 takes, till the time Randeep gave the shot exactly, as I was looking for. From that day, we never had any issues and for all the shots thereafter, he did not cross the second take.”
Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s Casting In Kick Was Questioned
Nadiadwala also addresses the casting of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, who played a pivotal role in the second half of the film. He explains, “He comes at a very important point in the second half of the film, where there is a fear that the film can become a little boring. I was always looking for him, though he was the last possible choice on anybody’s mind. Many of my HODs did not agree on his casting but I was very sure. I always prayed that his character would go well with the audience and then we would have a fantastic second half. And that’s exactly what happened.”
Kick remains a favourite for its exciting plot and impressive cast. The special coffee table book marks the film’s success and gives fans a peek into the effort and commitment behind making this hit.
