Bobby Deol Set To Join Jr NTR’s Devara As Villain Alongside Saif Ali Khan – Character Details Revealed!
Bollywood’s Animal aka Bobby Deol is making headlines with his latest role in the much-anticipated film Devara. The actor is set to join the cast of the Jr NTR and Janhvi Kapoor starrer and bring an extra dose of excitement to the project.
Deol will step into the shoes of a villain, a role that will see him sharing the screen with Saif Ali Khan, who is already onboard as the main antagonist.
Bobby Deol To Enter As 2nd Villain In Devara Climax
Sources close to the film have confirmed that discussions with Deol are in their final stages. A report in Hindustan Times states, “Bobby will play an antagonist in this movie. Saif Ali Khan will be the main antagonist in Devara Part 1 and Bobby Deol will enter Devara Part 1 towards the end of the film. In Devara Part 2, both Saif and Bobby will have meaty roles as antagonists.”
While Saif Ali Khan’s role will dominate the first part of the film, Deol’s character will make a dramatic entrance towards the end. Both actors are expected to take centre stage as villains in the sequel, adding depth and intensity to the narrative.
Janhvi Kapoor On Working With NTR In Devara
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor, who stars opposite Jr NTR, has been enthusiastic about her role and her co-star. She recently shared her excitement about working with Jr NTR, calling it a dream come true.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave in 2023, Kapoor said, “Working with Jr NTR has been a dream. I recently re-watched RRR. The magnitude of charisma that he has… to be able to share screen space with him will be one of the biggest joys of my life.”
Kapoor has also praised Jr NTR’s dancing skills, eagerly anticipating their collaborative sequences. “I just shot a song with Jr NTR sir and I can’t wait to shoot our next song together. I want to dance with Jr NTR,” she told Mashable India.
However, Kapoor’s role in Devara Part 1 will not be as extensive as some might hope. A source revealed, “Janhvi Kapoor will not have a very extensive role in Devara Part 1. Most of her sequences will be part of the second film. But it’s an exciting role for her.”
Directed by Koratala Siva, Devara Part 1 is slated for release on September 27. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain in pivotal roles.
