Bad Newz Becomes Vicky Kaushal’s BIGGEST Opener, Beats His 2019 HIT Uri: The Surgical Strike – Check Top 5!

Uri: The Surgical Strike, directed by Aditya Dhar, was Vicky’s previous record-holder. The 2019 military action drama, based on the Indian Army’s surgical strike, opened at Rs 8.20 crore. It now sits in second place among Kaushal’s highest openers.
In 2018, Meghna Gulzar’s espionage thriller Raazi, featuring Vicky as a soldier, earned Rs 7.53 crore on its first day. Sam Bahadur, the biopic in which Vicky portrayed Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, opened with Rs 6.25 crore in December 2023. Lastly, Zara Hatke Zara Bachke, a romantic comedy directed by Laxman Utekar, surprised many with an opening of Rs 5.49 crore last year.
