Ulajh Trailer: Janhvi Kapoor As A Young Diplomat Vows To Fight Against Trap Set For Her In This Political Thriller – WATCH
Janhvi Kapoor‘s latest film Ulajh has dropped its trailer, and it’s already making waves. On Tuesday, Junglee Pictures released a tense two-minute trailer for the political thriller. In the film, Janhvi plays Suhana Bhatia, a young bureaucrat who faces accusations of being a spy and leaking confidential information.
What’s In Ulajh Trailer?
The trailer opens with Suhana’s character, a graduate from St. Stephen’s College and Harvard University, now serving as the country’s youngest Deputy High Commissioner. Her colleagues doubt her abilities, dismissing her as a product of nepotism and unworthy of her position.
The plot thickens with the introduction of Gulshan Devaiah‘s character, an undercover agent. He confronts Suhana, asking for documents and questioning if he will be protected.
As the trailer progresses, it becomes clear that there’s an internal leak, endangering the lives of two government undercover agents. Amidst the chaos, Suhana goes missing for 24 hours. The trailer concludes with her vowing to fight against the trap set for her.

Ulajh is backed by the producers of Raazi, Badhaai Do, and Talvar. Directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sudhanshu Saria, the film features Roshan Mathew, Rajesh Tailang, and Adil Hussain in pivotal roles. The script is co-written by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Shaikh, with dialogues by Atika Chauhan. Produced by Vineet Jain, Ulajh is set to release on July 5, 2024.
This film marks Janhvi Kapoor’s second release of the year, following Mr and Mrs Mahi, which hit theatres on May 31. Fans can also look forward to her upcoming projects, including the Jr NTR starrer Devara: Part 1 and Shashank Khaitan’s Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari with Varun Dhawan.
