Junaid Khan recently debuted in Netflix’s Maharaj, alongside Jaideep Ahlawat and Sharvari Wagh. The film received positive reviews from fans and critics, and Junaid was praised for his acting skills. In a recent interview, Junaid revealed who he believes is the best actor in his family.
Junaid Khan Names THIS Person As Best Actor In The Family
During a candid conversation with Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Junaid shared his thoughts on his family’s acting talents. Surprisingly, he named his father’s former wife and director, Kiran Rao, as the best actor in the family.
Junaid praised Rao’s acting abilities, saying she is “probably the best actor in the family.” When specifically asked about Aamir Khan, Junaid stood by his opinion, stating, “Kiran is definitely the best actor in the family.”
Junaid recalled an incident where Rao played his mother during his audition for Laal Singh Chaddha. He mentioned, “I actually worked with her on the test for Laal Singh Chaddha,” highlighting her impressive acting skills.
Junaid Says Aamir Khan Often Exaggerates Small Things
In another interview, Junaid also discussed his father’s comments about his choice of transportation. Aamir Khan had previously mentioned that Junaid prefers using public transportation over having his own car.
Junaid explained to Connect Cine that his father often exaggerates small things. He shared, “I travel the most efficient way. I often take rickshaws in Mumbai because it is easier to get around and not worry about parking.” He added that he doesn’t let his father buy him a car, as he prefers using public transportation.
Junaid Khan’s Work Front
On the work front, Junaid has been busy. After Maharaj, he completed shooting his second project with South actress Sai Pallavi, backed by Aamir Khan’s production house.
Additionally, Junaid has a romantic comedy lined up with Khushi Kapoor. While details about this project are yet to be officially revealed, reports suggest the duo completed the first leg of shooting in Mumbai and are headed to the Delhi NCR region for the second schedule.
