EXCLUSIVE: Chandu Champion Box Office Day 14: Kartik Aaryan Starrer Sajid Nadiadwala Film Crosses Decent 65 Crore With Solid Trending In 2nd Week, Heading For 70 Crore Plus Lifetime
Kartik Aaryan‘s Chandu Champion released on 14th June. Jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, the film is poised to make significant waves in the entertainment industry.
Kartik Aaryan Starrer Collects 25 Crore In 2nd Week
Chandu Champion managed to hold well on 2nd Friday despite new releases and collected 3.32 crore nett. Film jumped by 90% on 2nd Saturday and collected 6.30 crore nett. Film again jumped on 2nd Sunday and collected 8.01 crore nett. Film crossed 17.63 crore nett over 2nd weekend.
Film held well on weekdays in 2nd week. Film added 2.10 crore nett on 2nd Monday followed by 2.15 crore nett each on 2nd Tuesday and 2nd Wednesday with slim growth. Film added 1.01 crore nett on 2nd Thursday.
Film has total of 65.17 crore nett in 14 days and it is heading for average verdict at box office with 70 crore plus lifetime total on cards.
Kartik Aaryan Starrer Biopic Scores Good Week One Of 40 Crore
Chandu Champion opened to glowing reviews as critics praised honesty of Kartik’s performance and Kabir Khan’s crafty direction. But multiplex flavour of the film meant poor business in mass centres. Film is very metro centric and that reflected in sluggish collection. Also ₹ 150 pricing kept the numbers low as it didn’t push walk ins in any significant way.
Film collected close to 3.10 crore gross in national chains on day one which means a strictly average 5.40 crore nett all India number. Film jumped by 42% on day two and collected 7.70 crore nett. Film again jumped by 41% and collected 11.01 crore nett.
Film has strictly average weekend total 24.11 crore nett considering budget and cast.
Monday was again Bakri Eid holiday and that is why film held well and collected 6.01 crore nett. Film added 3.60 crore nett on day 5, 3.40 crore nett on day 6 and 3.01 crore nett on day 7.
Film has total of 40.13 crore nett in 1st week.
