Kanguva Makers To Drop Release Date Teaser On Suriya’s 49th Birthday?
Suriya fans are eagerly awaiting the release of Kanguva, a period fantasy action film and his maiden collaboration with director Siva. This large-scale project, in production for over two years now, is aiming for a Diwali 2024 release, according to reports.
Despite the excitement, some critics have expressed concern due to the lack of updates from the production banner Studio Green.
Kanguva Makers to Unveil Release Date on Suriya’s Birthday
This wait may soon come to an end, as sources state that the teaser announcing the release date of Kanguva will be released on July 23, 2024, Suriya’s 49th birthday. The teaser is expected to reveal the much-anticipated release date for the Siva directorial in the final week of October 2024 as a Deepavali special.
Teaser May Have Voiceovers From 5 Superstars
Adding to the buzz, there are speculative, unconfirmed reports suggesting some star power in the Kanguva teaser. Rumour has it that this teaser, to be released in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi, will feature the voiceovers of industry stalwarts Rajinikanth, Mohanlal, Chiranjeevi, Yash, and Shah Rukh Khan in their respective languages. Though these reports are yet to be officially confirmed, fans are waiting with bated breath for an official announcement.

In Kanguva, Suriya will be seen in a dual role, with Disha Patani as the female lead and Bobby Deol playing the powerful antagonist. The supporting cast includes Kovai Sarala, Jisshu Sengupta, Yogi Babu, and many more. The music maestro is none other than Devi Sri Prasad, while Vetri Palanisamy has done the cinematography.
With Studio Green and UV Creations jointly producing the film, Kanguva is expected to be a visual treat of fantasy action, making it one of the most anticipated releases of recent times.
