Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD is set for a worldwide release tomorrow, June 27, and the Kill teaser will also be featured in theatres alongside it.
This strategic move aims to further expand its audience and generate excitement, benefiting from positive word-of-mouth.
Here’s How Makers Built A Realistic Train Set For Kill Shoot
One of the standout aspects of Kill is its immersive train setting, meticulously brought to life by production designer Mayur Sharma. Tasked with crafting a realistic train environment from scratch, Sharma expressed the unique challenges this endeavour posed. “I’ve built dams, temples, palaces, but never a train,” Sharma reflected on the complexity of the project.
To ensure authenticity, Sharma and his team meticulously replicated every detail of a typical Indian train. “80% of Indians travel by train, so authenticity was paramount,” Sharma affirmed, highlighting the attention to detail in material selection and design. He emphasised the functionality of the set, designed to facilitate seamless movement and enhance visual storytelling.
