Shah Rukh Khan fans fondly recall the iconic scenes and dialogues from his classic films. Among them is the iconic sattar minute sequence from the 2007 movie Chak De India, where he passionately declares, “Sattar (70) minute hain tumhare pass. Shayad yeh tumhari zindagi ke sab se khas sattar minute. Aaj tum acha khelo ya bura, yeh sattar minute tumhe zindagi bhar yaad rahenge.”

Vidya Malavade, who also featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s inspirational sports drama, has recently shared a surprising detail about filming this iconic dialogue. In anticipation of her upcoming movie Ruslaan alongside Aayush Sharma, the actor took a moment to reflect on her film career. Additionally, she shared thoughts on the lasting impact of Chak De India.

Vidya Malavade Praises Shah Rukh Khan, Revealing He Filmed ‘Sattar Minute’ Scene in One Take

Talking to IndiaToday, Vidya Malavade expressed how the film’s dialogues, characters, and inspirational narrative still strike a chord with audiences worldwide.

Malavade highlighted the recent viral moment when Shah Rukh Khan’s motivating speech to his IPL team KKR garnered attention, drawing parallels with his iconic sattar minute dialogue from the film.

In her interview, Malavade remarked, “Any coach giving a speech to his team will bring back the memory of Chak De, and especially when ‘Coach sir’ SRK is doing it, then definitely it will make you remember that moment. Most of those scenes from Chak De are still prominent in people’s minds and that specific scene for sure. I still remember when SRK came to shoot that scene. He did that in one take. He just nailed it. He is so amazing & well prepared always and that’s the magic of SRK.”

Reflecting on the film’s personal significance, Malavade shared, “Chak De is a gift that keeps on giving. Despite the constant influx of new releases in today’s cinema landscape, the film’s impact endures even after 16 years.”

Directed by Shimit Amin, Chak De India featured Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Malavade, Shilpa Shukla, Sagarika Ghatge, and Chitrashi Rawat among others.

Shah Rukh Khan: Work Front

Talking about his work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Dunki. He is gearing up for his next project titled King, where he will portray a character with shades of grey.

According to sources, Khan is deeply involved in shaping his character for the film, which is expected to commence filming in September. He will also shoot for Pathaan 2 by the end of this year.
