Kartik Aaryan Worked For 14 Months On His Marathi Dialect With A Language Coach For Chandu Champion: Report

Actor Kartik Aaryan has put his heart and soul into his upcoming film Chandu Champion. Alongside intense training in the middleweight category, Kartik meticulously tailored his diet, completely eliminating sugar, and shedding an impressive 20 kgs to embody the physique of a boxer. To enhance the film’s authenticity, Kartik immersed himself in the world of professional boxing, sharing the ring with real-world champions.

As per a source close to the film, the actor has also focused on Marathi dialect for 14 months. He had a language coach throughout who helped him to grab a good hold of the language. In the first look, Kartik could be seen donning the India blazer with short hair and an intense expression with some little injury marks on his face.
The film is all set to hit the theaters on June 14, 2024. It will serve as yet another Eid release for Kartik as Eid-al-Adha falls on June 16, 2024. Kabir Khan has directed the film.

Kartik Aaryan Starrer Vishal Bharadwaj Film Is ‘Sapna Didi’ With New Perspective Of Male Gangster
Only a few days ago, there were reports that Kartik Aaryan and Vishal Bhardwaj were in talks for a gritty thriller, which would mark their maiden collaboration. Now, fresh reports in Mid Day suggests that the film is apparently a reimagination of a thriller that the filmmaker was planning with the late Irrfan, and Deepika Padukone.
In 2018, Bhardwaj had announced a film on Sapna Didi, which was to be an adaptation of a chapter from S Hussain Zaidi’s book, Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Padukone was set to play Ashraf Khan, also known as Sapna Didi, who vowed to bring down underworld don Dawood Ibrahim with the help of Hussain Ustara. The film did not get off the ground as Irrfan, who was to play Hussain Ustara, was diagnosed with cancer.
Now, sources say that Bhardwaj is taking another stab at the story. “Vishal and Kartik are working on the Sapna Didi story. But unlike the earlier version, this will be told from the perspective of Hussain Ustara. The script is ready. The makers are yet to lock the female lead,” says a source close to the development. If things go as planned, the Sajid Nadiadwala production will roll sometime in September or October.
Later detailing the shoot schedule of Arjun Ustara the source continues, “Sajid Nadiadwala recently met the representatives from the Government of Spain and has reached an understanding wherein, the local government will assist with permissions and legalities facilitating shoots, while filmmakers will help promote tourism and their country. As for starting the shoot of the venture, the source continues, “Arjun Ustara will be shot extensively in Spain and Greece, with the filmmaker and maverick producer looking to mount the project and commence work this Diwali.”
Kartik is also excited to play an action-packed character in this gangster saga and will dive into the prep work from May. “It’s during Chandu Champion that Kartik discovered his love for action and his manifestation is turned into a reality now by Vishal Bhardwaj and Sajid Nadiadwala,” the source shared.
