Yami Gautam’s Professional Front

In ‘OMG 2,’ Yami Gautam played the role of Kamini Maheshwari, a lawyer who plays a pivotal role in addressing the need for sex education in the Indian education system. Acting alongside stalwarts like Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi, Yami held her ground and delivered a power-packed performance. Interestingly, it was Akshay Kumar who convinced Yami to take up this challenging role, showcasing the camaraderie and trust between the two talented actors.

This film marked Yami’s comeback on the big screen after a brief hiatus. Her last theatrical release was ‘Bala’ in 2019, alongside Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar.
