Breaking: Grand Entry Of Shah Rukh Khan In Chennai At Jawan Pre – Release Event, Atlee, Anirudh, Vijay Sethupathi And Stars Galore! Live Updates
Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee have arrived in Chennai to launch the audio album and pre release event of their upcoming film Jawan, which is set to release on September 7. The film is a bilingual action thriller starring SRK, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover in pivotal roles. The film has been shot in Tamil and Hindi, and will also be dubbed in Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
The duo took to social media to announce their visit to Chennai and express their excitement to meet the fans. SRK tweeted, “Vanakkam Chennai, I am coming!!! All the Jawans – girls & boys at Sai Ram Engineering College be ready… I am excited to meet you all! Might even do some tha tha thaiya if asked. See you tomorrow 3PM onwards.” Atlee shared a sneak peek of the sets on Instagram and wrote, “Can’t wait for this See you all tommmmmmm #jawan pre release event tomm 3 pm at Sai Ram Engineering College chennai.”
SRK graces the stage with Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh and other celebrities
The pre-release event of Jawan was held at the indoor stadium of Sai Ram Engineering College in Chennai on August 30. The event was attended by thousands of fans who thronged the venue to catch a glimpse of SRK and Atlee. The event was also graced by Vijay Sethupathi, who plays the antagonist in the film, music composer Anirudh Ravichander, who has scored the songs and background score of the film, and other celebrities from the Tamil film industry.
SRK made a grand entry on the stage amid loud cheers and applause from the crowd. He greeted the fans in Tamil and said, “I love you all. Thank you for coming here and giving me so much love. I am very happy to be here with Atlee, Vijay Sethupathi, Anirudh and everyone who has worked hard for this film. Jawan is a very special film for me and I hope you all will enjoy it.”

Atlee thanked SRK for collaborating with him and praised his performance in the film. He said, “SRK sir is not just a superstar, he is a superhuman. He has given his heart and soul for this film. He has done some amazing action sequences that will blow your mind. He has also shown his versatility by speaking Tamil and Hindi with ease. He is truly a Jawan.”
Vijay Sethupathi said that he was honored to share screen space with SRK and Atlee. He said, “I am a big fan of SRK sir since I was a kid. I have watched all his films and learned a lot from him. He is very humble and generous. He treated me like a brother on the sets. Working with him and Atlee was a dream come true for me.”

Anirudh Ravichander said that he had a blast composing music for Jawan. He said, “Jawan is a musical treat for the fans. The songs are catchy and energetic. They gave me full freedom and support to create music that suits the mood and theme of the film.”
The pre-release event of Jawan was a huge success and created a lot of buzz and hype for the film.
